Malappuram Cycling Club Rules & Regulations

These rules ensure the safety, respect, and smooth functioning of all club activities. By participating, members agree to the following:

1. Membership

1.1 Open to individuals aged 14+

1.2 Membership requires application, fee payment, waiver signing, and medical fitness confirmation

2. Conduct & Responsibilities

2.1 Follow all club rules, policies, and ride captain instructions

2.2 Treat all members with dignity and respect

2.3 Harassment, bullying, or discrimination will not be tolerated

3. Club Rides & Activities

3.1 Use roadworthy bikes and wear safety gear (helmet mandatory)

3.2 Official club jersey required within 3 months of joining and for all club rides/events

3.3 Carry ID, emergency contacts, and basic repair kits

4. Safety & Risk Management

4.1 Members are responsible for their own safety

4.2 Follow traffic rules, report incidents, and have insurance coverage

5. Communication

5.1 Use official channels for club communication

5.2 Maintain respectful, confidential interactions

6. Property & Finances

6.1 Treat club property responsibly

6.2 Pay membership fees and event costs on time

7. Complaints & Disputes

7.1 Handled confidentially as per club policy

7.2 The club committee investigates fairly

8. Termination of Membership

8.1 Breach of rules, any involvement in drug use or other police-related cases, Engaging in disruptive riding behaviour in public areas, or unpaid fees may lead to membership termination

9. Club Structure

9.1 Non-profit, registered society (Reg No. MPM/CA/145/2025)

9.2 Run by an official committee with member contributions encouraged

I understand and agree to follow all the rules and regulations mentioned above. I know that failing to respect these expectations may lead to consequences, including removal from the club.
