Challenge Rules & Guidelines

1. Ride Requirement: Complete a single 100 km cycling ride within 8 hours of elapsed time anytime between June 1 and June 7, 2025.

2. Top Positions & Eligibility: The top three positions will be determined based on moving time and average speed to complete the 100 km ride. Separate categories will be considered for men and women, with mementos awarded to the top three finishers in each category.

   Prizes are limited to participants from Kerala only.

3. Mandatory Strava Tracking: All rides must be recorded using the Strava app only. Rides tracked using other apps or devices will not be accepted.

4. No Manual Entries or Tagged Rides: Manual uploads and tagged rides are strictly prohibited. Both the original rider and the tagged participant will be disqualified.

5. Outdoor, Non-Electric Rides Only: Indoor rides (including virtual rides or trainers) and e-bike rides are not allowed. Only outdoor, human-powered rides will be accepted.

6. Tie-Breaker Rule: In the event of a tie for the top position, the rider with the higher elevation gain during their 100 km ride will be declared the winner.

7. Medal Collection: Medals must be collected in person. If you prefer to receive yours via courier, shipping charges will be applicable.

8. Virtual Challenge: This is an online event. All participants must strictly follow local government guidelines, traffic rules, and health advisories during their ride.

9. Self-Supported Event: This is a self-supported challenge. Participants are solely responsible for their own safety, health, hydration, and nutrition.

10. Decision-Making Authority: The Malappuram Cycling Club Executive Committee reserves the right to make final decisions regarding winner selection, event organization, eligibility, and any other matters related to the challenge. For inquiries, please contact the committee directly.
